History
Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Centers has been providing quality and licensed daycare and early childhood education to Scottsdale area families since 1994. Our main purpose is to meet the basic needs of each child (social, physical, emotional, and intellectual) with love, unique care, integrity, and generosity.

Our Directors
Kat Barker
Hi, my name is Kat and I have been a dedicated part of SLC since 2010, bringing years of passion and experience to the role as one of the directors. I graduated with honors from ASU West with a degree in Early Childhood Education, with a commitment to quality early learning. I am committed to supporting both children and families in meaningful ways.
Kara Golden
Hi, my name is Kara Golden and I am a Director at Scottsdale Learning Center Raintree. I first joined SLC in 2019 while working toward my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I spent three years teaching 1st grade before finding my way back to SLC. I'm so grateful to be part of this team and I love creating a supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive while families feel confident and connected. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family!
Breanne Seamans
Hi, my name is Bree, and I am one of the Directors at Scottsdale childcare and Learning Center. I have been part of this wonderful community since 2011. I graduated summa cum laude with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University, which helped shape my passion for working with young children. I truly love what I do, building relationships with each family and getting to know every child in my care is the most rewarding part of my role. Being the director here gives my life a strong sense of purpose, and I feel grateful every day to be part of such an important stage in children's lives.
Our Teachers
The teaching staff at Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Centers are sharp professionals who love working with the children at our schools, as well as devoting themselves to our high standards of quality Arizona childcare. Our teachers design a well-scheduled learning environment with creative activities that aid in their intellectual development. We strive to encourage positive interactions among children and parents.
We at Scottsdale Learning Centers know the value of consistency and excellence when it comes to children, which is why we employ early education professionals instead of just your average daycare workers. All of our teachers are held to a higher standard of early childhood education and are asked to exceed the state teaching requirements for continued training and education. We make this an attainable goal by hosting many continuing education classes at each of our Arizona preschool locations, as well as CPR and first aid certified.
